Well, I am officially creating delicious desserts for Old York Country Club! Last night was my first event and even though I was so nervous I had so much fun!
Thursday was the beginning of it all. I walked into the huge "professional" kitchen and immediately froze... was I really here to make desserts! The day didn't go as smoothly as planned, the kitchen was huge, they don't use pot holders!!! Who doesn't use pot holders to take hot pans out of a 400 degree oven! Chefs, that's who. Well, after 10 hours of standing on my feet, running around a kitchen burning my fingers trying to take trays out of the ovens with thin towels and burning my body with hot water trying to clean cupcake tins, my desserts came out awesome!
